Contract Administrator
+ Location: Belcamp, Maryland
+ Security Clearance: None Required - U.S. citizenship required
+ Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 Depending on Experience and Education
+ Travel: 5%

Position Summary
SURVICE is searching for an experienced Contract Administrator to support the Contracts/Subcontracts Department. The Contract Administrator will work closely with the in-house Law Department and members of various functional teams (Business Development, Finance, Project Management and Accounting) on all aspects of contract administration.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
+ Maintain and update contract documents and official program records, including contractual documents and correspondence
+ Analyze contracts to ensure they comply with company policies, as well as state and federal laws and regulations
+ Review contracts for conformity with standard terms, identify risks, recommend revisions and negotiate changes
+ Collaborate effectively with other internal groups (BD, Law, Finance, PM) during all phases of the contract lifecycle
+ Prepare Contract Briefs and conduct internal kick offs for new contract awards
+ Assist in Small Business Subcontract reporting and compliance
+ Determine whether to escalate issues to in house Law Department
+ Research contract issues IAW FAR, DFARS or Commercial requirements
+ Provide direct contract support, review contractual documents to ensure protection of company's contractual/risk posture, satisfaction of contractual requirements and adherence to company policies
+ Administer and negotiate contracts
+ Support proposal preparation as needed
+ Work cooperatively with the technical and program staff to address customer requests
+ Must be able to make sound decisions in a timely manner, display strong interpersonal skills, and possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills
+ Respond to customer requests for representation and certifications
+ Process contract closeouts
+ Provide surge support with subcontracting/purchasing/finance as needed
Minimum Qualifications of Contracts Administrator Associate's Degree in relevant course of study and 5+ years of relevant experience. Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered. + Minimum 5 years' experience in Contract Administration
+ Experience with Deltek Costpoint a plus
+ Experience with FAR/DFAR
+ Strong negotiation and mediation skills
+ Strong skills in the use of Microsoft Office products
+ High level of competence in written and oral communication skills, analytical problem solving, decisiveness, and planning is required
+ Proactive; self-directed; can take instruction and act
+ Demonstrated leadership and critical thinking as well as the ability to multi-task in a challenging environment
