The hourly range for this position is $22 to $25 an hour. This position is based in Linden, NJ. FreshRealm is looking for a Team Lead - Shipping & Receiving to oversee the activities of employees engaged in material handling, shipping, receiving, storage and transportation.

Key Responsibilities

+ Responsible for training of new hires and/or temporary Associates

+ Owns execution of SOPs and holds Associates accountable; escalates discrepancies to Supervisor when necessary

+ Owns the safety of the team, ensures that all Associates are in a safe working environment 100% of the time

+ By owning the team’s quality standards, ensure that we send out a quality product to our

+ Assist Supervisor with development of the team and assist with training of critical roles

+ Motivate and challenge the team to achieve and exceed daily performance goals

+ Engage and show respect to associates on a daily basis. Build team morale to drive productivity and quality standards

Qualifications

Skills and Requirements

+ Clear and concise communicator, verbal and written

+ Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure

+ Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

+ Flexible availability; we work night and weekend shifts

+ Must be willing and able to work overtime as required

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and knowledge with WMS

Experience / Education

+ 1-2 years of entry-level managerial leadership experience in a food production or warehouse environment
