    About the Role:

    As a Quality & Commissioning Owner's Representative, you will be responsible for managing large and high-profile construction projects for clients, with direct accountability for project delivery.

     

    Join our team onsite in Omaha, NE! We are willing to provide relocation assistance for the right candidate.

    What You’ll Do:

    + **Manage site-based quality control and quality assurance programs, and ensures the General Contractor is executing on this program effectively, while also executing the Cx program and strategically leading Google’s General Contractor and integrating with Google’s Operations team to deliver the programs goals and Deliverables**

    + Create, update and maintain the project submittal log and all other project-specific quality control reports;

    + Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specifications

    + Chair and document weekly Quality Control (QC) meetings with the superintendent

    + Provide written daily QC reports that reinforce activities that are being constructed in conformance with each specific project's established standard and constructively confronts non-conformances to produce the desired outcome in a timely manner

    + Conduct preparatory, initial and follow-up meetings to establish an understanding of the standards of care desired for each definable feature of work. Verify that checklists are being used and signed off prior to the placement of concrete, steel and other similar items of work

    + Verify and document that all materials received for the project are in conformance with the approved submittal

    + Conduct periodic follow-up inspections to verify that work is proceeding with the contract documents and the approved submittal

    + Document final inspections, and acceptance of the works and various phases

    + Manage the quality control staff and all specialty subcontractor inspection entities to ensure all disciplines are in compliance with applicable owner/architect and contract specifications, codes, regulations and requirements

    + Function as the primary point of contact and liaison with the Owner for all quality control related issues

    + Implements and/or manages the keeping of all QC records and ensures that required reporting is accomplished

    + Plans, schedules and coordinates (preparatory, initial and follow-up) to ensure that all required audits/inspections are performed and documented. Carry out Internal Audit at site as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan (PQP)

    + Report results to the respective superintendent(s) in an expeditious manner and acts as a catalyst for follow-up corrective actions and re-inspection when deficiencies are discovered

    + Assists Project Safety Coordinator to implement and aggressively enforce safety programs and practices to create a safe and healthy work environment.

    + Support technical escalations on testing scope and issues from project level, and provide direction

    + Support the Quality and Cx (QCx) Team in all of corporate Owner’s program initiatives and meetings

    + Assist in managing and tracking the Owner’s vendor partner selection and relationships

    + Assist the QCx Team to develop and implement processes to ensure technical consistency and documentation of QCx program

    + Manage QCx reporting and dashboards, and develop/maintain metrics

    + Write commissioning and construction quality test scripts for Level 1 through Level 5 commissioning

    + Support the Program Cx Manager in data collection, recordation and analysis

    + Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) relating to commissioning of all electrical / power distribution systems within the data center

    + Monitor existing on-site Cx processes for consistency and adherence to Google expectations as directed by Google, support Cx Program Manager in the proper implementation of Cx strategy/execution.

    What You’ll Need:

    + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

    + The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.

    + Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.

    + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

    + Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
