    Senior Plant Sales Manager – Case Ready

     

    General Summary: Senior Sales Manager (SSM) will be responsible for achieving growth goals against established KPI’s within Case Ready Business Unit.

     

    This position will be based out of one of our 7 production facilities (listed below) or out of our Corporate Headquarters in Greeley, CO.

     

    1. Live Oak, FL

    2. Cold Spring, MN

    3. Gainesville, GA

    4. Guntersville, AL

    5. Sanford, NC

    6. Lufkin, TX

    7. DeQueen, AR

    Responsibilities:

    + Identify sales upgrade opportunities across BU for both bulk and tray pack

    + Coordinate sales manager coverage during absences/vacations

    + Train new sales managers, as needed

    + Monitor net dock pricing across the BU

    + Provide sales leadership to BU sales managers

    + Work with outside sales to resolve sales issues

    + Assist in achieving budgeted sales objectives.

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in sales, business or similar field preferred

    + Must be able to travel 50+%

    + 5+ years' experience in protein (poultry) experience required

    + Ability to represent Pilgrims and sell our brand and corporate mission

    + Negotiation skills

    + Basic computer skills-Microsoft Office

    + Collaborative/Accountable/Results driven/ Detail Oriented

    + Team Player

    + Self-Starter

    + Multitasking

    + Analytical and process oriented

    + Able and willing to communicate effectively

    The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

    + Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

    + Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

    + 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

    + Base salary range of $108,000 – $132,000;

    + Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
