SUNY Delhi is seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Senior Human Resources Associate to join our team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our campus community by supporting approximately 500 employees across a range of employment categories.
As a key member of the Human Resources team, the Senior Human Resources Associate plays a pivotal role in supporting and managing a broad range of HR functions. This includes overseeing employee benefits, coordinating training initiatives, contributing to policy development, ensuring Title IX compliance, conducting unbiased investigations, and promoting full observance of SUNY, state and federal policies, laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will be the consummate professional who exercises sound judgment, demonstrates discretion, and maintains the highest level of confidentiality. This position requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and confidential environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
+ Serve as Title IX Coordinator and Domestic Violence Liaison
+ Act as the campus Benefits Manager, overseeing employee benefits programs and guiding employees through various benefit enrollment processes
+ Facilitate and enhance onboarding and off-boarding processes
+ Prepare and distribute campus-wide HR trainings and communications
+ Assist the Director of Human Resources with employee relations and workplace matters
+ Ensure adherence to HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements

Job Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
+ At least five (5) years of progressive experience in human resources management
+ Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance standards
+ Demonstrated experience conducting fair and impartial investigations
+ Ability to work with diverse constituents and develop collegial working relationships
+ Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience working with New York State Civil Service rules and procedures, or experience in the public sector or higher education
+ SUNY Experience
+ Demonstrated sound supervisory skills
+ SHRM Certification

+ Starting date: As soon as possible
+ Work schedule: Monday - Friday,
+ Salary: Starting $75,000
+ Reports to: Director of Human Resources
