    Job Description

    The Assistant Vice President (AVP), Human Resources is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing human resources functions at the site level. The AVP, HR will work closely with site leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals, drive HR initiatives, and ensure the effective implementation of HR policies and programs. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive work environment, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting the site's operational and strategic objectives.

    Job Responsibility

    1.Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with Northwell's overall goals and objectives.

    2.Provide guidance on organizational development, talent management, and workforce planning.

    3.Supervise HR operations, while analyzing HR metrics and data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement..

    4.Ensures accuracy, quality, timeliness, and responsiveness of products, services and activities of the entire HR function.

    5.Analyzes HR site issues and problems and develops, with site leadership, optimal solutions that maximize performance.

    6.Serves as a member of site department leadership teams to drive HR and business objectives and to provide advice and counsel to focus on creating innovative HR solutions that support strategy.

    7.Must be committed to fostering Diversity and Inclusion, Achieving Operational Excellence, Developing an Effective Cost Management Culture and Enhancing the Customers Experience.

    8.Builds and maintains constructive relationships throughout the site and develops and leverages those contacts to increase communication and work effectiveness throughout the HR function.

    9.Lead and support organizational change initiatives and HR-related projects.

    10.Collaborates with other functions, departments, teams and individuals to achieve HR business objectives.

    11.Performs related duties, as required."

     

    Job Qualification

     

    "1.Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and related experience is required.

     

    2.Master's degree preferred.

    3.10-12+ years prior technical experience preferred, with at least 7 years in a senior HR Leadership role.

    The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).

     

    The salary range for this position is $166,500-$291,400/year
