    Job Title: Small Engine & Fleet Maintenance Mechanic

    Company Overview:

    We are a growing lawn maintenance company supporting four active crews and a fleet of 25 new diesel work trucks. We’re seeking a hands-on, mechanically inclined professional to join our team as an on-site **Small Engine & Fleet Maintenance Mechanic** .

    Job Summary:

    This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of small engine equipment and performing mechanical work on our diesel truck fleet. The ideal candidate is process-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable using digital tools to track repairs and maintenance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Diagnose and repair small engine equipment including blowers, trimmers, and trailers (20+ units)

    + Perform brake jobs, transmission servicing, and general maintenance on diesel trucks

    + Troubleshoot and repair carburetors, hydraulic systems, and electrical wiring

    + Conduct spot welding and trailer suspension rebuilds (welding is a plus)

    + Maintain accurate repair logs using tablets or smartphones

    + Collaborate with outsourced vendors for forklift, skid steer, and bobcat servicing

    Required Skills:

    + Small engine repair

    + Mechanical diagnostics

    + Hydraulic systems

    + General repair and maintenance

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Spot welding experience

    + Strong troubleshooting ability

    + Process-driven with attention to detail

    + Ownership of most required tools

    + Comfortable with digital reporting systems

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
