Job Title: Warehouse Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual for a temp-to-hire position in a manufacturing warehouse located in Westbrook, ME. This role involves working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and requires handling materials efficiently.

Responsibilities

+ Load and unload products in the warehouse.

+ Verify quantities of products received and dispatched.

+ Scan products in and out of inventory using RF scanners.

+ Ensure accurate inventory management.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or material handling environment.

+ Proficiency in basic math and good communication skills.

+ English communication skills.

+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with forklifts and pallet jacks.

+ Familiarity with inventory systems.

+ Food manufacturing experience.

Work Environment

The facility in Westbrook employs around 120 people, with approximately 80 in production roles. The environment is clean and organized, despite being a food manufacturing setting. The dress code includes wearing shoes and jeans, and candidates will be provided with hair nets and smocks. Work hours start at 6am/7am and continue until finish, typically around 3pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westbrook, Maine.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
