    **Plumbing Assembler – 4 DAY WORK WEEK - $20/Hour**

     

    Pay: $20/hour

     

    Hours: 6 AM to 4:30 PM

     

    _As a Plumbing Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling plumbing systems for specialty firetrucks. Your duties will include the installation of various components such as heat exchangers, master drains, primer controls, manual pump shifts, and discharge systems. You will also be responsible for cutting, threading, and bending pipes, as well as joining pipes using various methods._

    Responsibilities:

    + _Install heat exchange not already installed with value_

    + _Install master drain_

    + _Install primer control_

    + _Install manual pump shift_

    + _Install discharge, R&L rear and front bumpers_

    + _Install bleeder drains_

    + _Connect lines to gauge panel_

    + _Cut and thread pipes using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe threading machine_

    + _Bend pipes to the required angle by using a pipe bending machine or by bending by hand_

    + _Join pipes using screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and caulk joints_

    + _Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes_

    + _Fill pipe systems with water or air and read pressure gauges to check for system leaks_

    Skills:

    + _Proficiency with hand and power tools_

    + _Experience in plumbing_

    + _Knowledge of plumbing/fire protection_

    + _Ability to handle cutting tools and boiler systems_

    + _Skill in installation, threading, and cutting_

    + _Motivated and hardworking_

    + _Team-oriented with great attendance and longevity_

    + _Proficiency with hand and power tools_

    + _Plumbing experience preferred_

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $41600.00/yr.
