What You’ll Do as a Billing Specialist
+ Manage all aspects of the billing cycle, including interpreting contracts, reviewing project setup, and preparing accurate client invoices for professional services using Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
+ Collaborate with Project Managers to generate and deliver timely, client-ready invoices, supported by accurate financial data and project reports.
+ Monitor and support soft collections for outstanding accounts receivable to ensure consistent cash flow.
+ Prepare detailed project-related reports, including job costing and financial summaries, to support project management and decision-making.
+ Verify the accuracy of invoices, timesheets, expense reports, and other accounting documents prior to submission or processing.
+ Perform internal and external reconciliations, resolving discrepancies with vendors, clients, or project teams as needed.
+ Ensure timely and accurate submission of employee timesheets and expense reports on a weekly basis.
+ Provide cross-functional support by collaborating with other departments to meet project and client needs.
+ Assist with ad hoc financial tasks and special projects as assigned.
+ Serve as a backup for accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure continuity during absences or high-volume periods.

Salary Range-$25 to $31
Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors. Requirements
What You Bring, Your Expertise as a Billing Specialist
+ Associate’s degree in accounting or business preferred
+ 3-5 years of billing experience preferred
+ Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint software experience preferred
+ Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
