Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree Aviation maintenance or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 6 years aircraft maintenance experience, preferably on Gulfstream aircraft, to include 2 years CMP experience. An A&P license and 4 years of related aircraft experience in addition to the 6 years combined experience may offset the degree.
Position Purpose:
Under general supervision, provide analytical support of customer maintenance programs within the scope of the FAA, Gulfstream, and vendor requirements. On a daily basis, interface with customers, departments, and vendors to ensure accuracy of assigned customer aircraft maintenance records and continued regulatory compliance.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
+ Maintain assigned customer approved maintenance program, identifying tasks that must be accomplished to ensure continued adherence to FAA or other regulatory agency requirements.
+ Provide technical expertise to the assigned customer base in support of CMP.net and CMP processes that enhance the overall effectiveness of the program to the customer.
+ Accurately implement maintenance program revisions within departmental guidelines.
+ Conduct maintenance program audits to verify accuracy of records. Compile audit findings and provide recommendations to customers for conformity to FAA, manufacturer, and vendor requirements.
+ Respond to correspondence, interpret information, and apply technical knowledge to satisfy customer.
+ Anticipate customer support issues and effectively communicate to management and staff.
+ Participate in creating solutions and enhancing capabilities of CMP products and services.
+ Assist customer in utilizing available CMP.net full functionality and capabilities. .
Additional Functions:
+ Generate various reports and spreadsheets, and other technical data as required. .
+ May be required. to travel in support of CMP activities. .
Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
+ Must be competent with computers and Microsoft Office. .
+ Must be fully proficient with Gulfstream Chapter 5, and the CMP.net maintenance tracking system.
