    Job Description:

    EVS technician will manage the activities of EVS staff to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and visitors . They also work to improve patient care and satisfaction.

    EVS Technician Responsibilities:

    + Lead and oversee EVS staff

    + Ensure a safe environment by reducing microorganisms

    + Interact with patients, families, and visitors

    + Help coordinate patient room cleaning

    + Support department leadership

    + Model customer service

    + Act as a shift lead when a supervisor is unavailable

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED

    + Experience in environmental services

    + Experience as a floor care technician

    + Prior lead experience

    + Ability to multitask

    + Attention to detail

    + Effective communication skills

    + Background clearance
