The Director of Process Engineering and Maintenance is responsible for leading the strategic and tactical direction of the engineering and maintenance functions across the organization. This role drives operational excellence through the implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of all manufacturing and facility systems.

Education / Training:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field); master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Operational Excellence & Strategy
• Develop and execute strategies to improve operational performance, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and accountability across all levels of the organization.
Lean & Six Sigma Leadership
• Lead Lean transformation initiatives and Six Sigma projects to drive process improvements.
• Train and mentor cross-functional teams in Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping) and Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, statistical analysis).
Engineering Oversight
• Oversee process engineering activities including process design, optimization, and technology implementation.
• Collaborate with Quality and Operations teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and equipment.
Maintenance & TPM
• Lead the development and execution of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program.
• Ensure asset reliability through predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Manage capital projects and equipment upgrades to support business growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt or Master Black Belt preferred), and TPM.
• Strong project management skills and experience with capital project execution.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills.
Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of AAR and FRA compliance requirements.
• Experience with ERP and CMMS systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and change management skills.
• Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM methodologies.
