    As the, Commercial Service Sales Specialist you will be responsible for pursuing opportunities for service agreements, quick turn projects to keep our customers operating effectively and supporting Customer Service Account Specialists in pursuing large opportunities that help our customers modernize their equipment.

     

    This role is a great fit for you to excel at building relationships and understanding Carrier Commercial Services offerings. If you have outstanding customer service and love working with cross-functional teams. This is the ideal role for those that are adept at assessing and understanding both the immediate and future customer needs.

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Prospect, research, and qualify potential customers utilizing Carrier’s equipment installed base, referrals, internal leads, directories, and competitor sites.

    + Make effective sales presentations, conduct customer needs assessment, answer questions and secure new customer maintenance agreements.

    + Establish customer rapport and builds effective questioning techniques to identify the prospect’s needs, budget, decision-making process, timeline, and next steps.

    + Develop proposals to address customer’s needs to close sales.

    + Perform site surveys and facility walkthroughs to identify equipment and site conditions in order to evaluate customer needs and create proposal for offerings.

    + Utilize applicable sales tools such as Salesforce to track and effectively develop and manage an active backlog of sales opportunities.

    + Collaborate and support Commercial Service Account Managers in your assigned territory.

    + Create and maintain Sales Territory and Account plans where necessary.

    + Learn how to promote Carrier value proposition linking customer objectives to Carrier solutions.

    + Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions, activities, and opportunity pipeline.

    + Strong ability to develop and sustain customer relationships.

    + Effective presentation and communication skills

    + Responding to the customer requirements in a timely manner

    + To effectively negotiate service agreement renewals when required

    Required Qualifications

    + BA / BS Degree in Mechanical or Industrial engineering or High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years in Commercial/Industrial HVAC in a technical role

    + Must be able lift/carry 20 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and be comfortable working on roofs/platforms.

    + Ability to pass an MVR background check

    + Ability to travel up to 80% within the assigned territory.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Extremely comfortable operating in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software.

    + Outstanding sales/negotiation skills and goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skills

    + Demonstrated strong written, verbal and presentation skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers.

    + Ability to sell directly to end user customer.

    + Demonstrates ability to introduce others to cross sell and upsell within their base of customers.

    + Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment.

    + Demonstrated ability to introduce others to cross sell and upsell within their base of customers.

    + Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to proactively sell preventative repair / upgrade packages.

    + Self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities.

    Pay Range:

    $79,500.00-$111,500.00
