+ **Schedule:** Full Time Days, Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4pm. No holidays or weekends. Will work during the summer hours to provide summer education needs of the facility.

This position is for a Licensed Special Education teacher, K-12, that will be working with our Residential and Day School programs with students ages 6 to 18. This position highlights a team approach with lots of support! Our ideal candidate will work alongside our behavioral staff and therapist to provide the educational component of both programs.

Responsibilities

Provide early intervention services to children.

+ Administer formal and informal assessments appropriately and interpret results.

+ Recognize and effectively address family's concerns. Ensure that report and service reflect the family's concerns for their child.

+ Make appropriate referrals to medical and health providers. Coordinate with agencies involved with family. Collaborate and follow up as needed.

+ Provide multi-disciplinary services and promote family participation in incorporating services into daily routines.

Requirements

Education:

+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

+ This position prefers candidates to be a licensed special education teacher with the state of Indiana.

+ Candidates can accommodate different learning styles, has good classroom management, enjoys a team approach, able to create diverse lesson plans, is empathetic with professional boundaries, and enjoys creativity in their work environment.
