The Payment Acceptance and Experience (PAE) Marketing team is looking for an analytical, strategic, and customer-focused product marketing manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance the customer paying experience, with a focus on emerging payment technologies and new payment method launches. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how customers discover, evaluate, and adopt various payment options on Amazon.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketer with strong strategic thinking capabilities, with exceptional cross-functional leadership skills, experience with analytical tools, and demonstrated success in leading go-to-market programs. You will work closely with payment product teams, financial partners, engineering, analytics, UX and insights teams to create compelling customer experiences that drive payment adoption and trust. This role requires someone who can balance attention to detail with marketing expertise, using data-driven insights to optimize customer engagement and payment method conversion.
Key job responsibilities
• Identify key customer segments and create lifecycle journeys to drive acquisition and retention
• Develop compelling positioning and messaging that resonates with target customers
• Define success metrics and continually optimize to improve performance of marketing initiatives
• Identify best practices and experiment to inform the marketing roadmap
• Build GenAI tools to automate and scale initiatives

Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
