• Sr. Accountant

    Robert Half Management Resources (Bloomington, MN)


    Description Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a highly skilled senior accountant for a 2–3-month contract role to support critical accounting functions and drive operational efficiency. This position will focus on fixed assets, lease accounting, and share services activities, while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Support month-end close activities across, review and lead the preparation of journal entries

     

    - Manage full life cycle of fixed assets and lease accounting - recording depreciation, amortization, and disposals and track new lease contracts and projects in process.

     

    - Support the corporate accounting team with technical accounting research

     

    -Coordinate across different business units and communicate cross functionally.

    Requirements:

    Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

    Strong Microsoft Excel

    Strong Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with technical accounting topics a plus

     

    Comfortable working across multiple systems, teams and locations

     

    Prior experience with mid size to large ERP systems such as JDE, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, and Epicor is a plus.
