Description
We are excited to welcome an experienced Certified Payroll Administrator to our dynamic team in Ontario, California area. In this role, you will take charge of payroll processing for a large and diverse workforce, ensuring compliance with union agreements and prevailing wage requirements. Responsibilities:
• Process payroll for a workforce of over 400 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage certified payroll operations, including compliance with prevailing wage and union requirements.
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to execute full-cycle payroll processes across multiple states.
• Prepare and analyze payroll data using Excel, leveraging tools such as Pivot Tables for reporting.
• Maintain meticulous records and documentation to support audits and compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with union representatives to address payroll-related issues and ensure contract adherence.
• Review and verify payroll entries to maintain consistency and prevent errors.
• Stay updated on payroll regulations and labor laws, ensuring all processes align with current standards.
• Generate detailed reports for internal stakeholders, summarizing payroll activities and compliance metrics
Requirements
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration, including certified payroll. Certified payroll and union experience is a MUST
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and full-cycle payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll practices and union regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create and analyze Pivot Tables and create VLOOKUP.
• Certified Payroll designation.
• Experience with prevailing wage laws and compliance standards.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling payroll data.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with unionized workforces and large employee groups.
