Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee financial processes and ensure the accuracy of all accounting operations. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail to manage month-end closings, general ledger activities, and financial audits effectively. The position is based in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

• Oversee general ledger maintenance and ensure all entries are in compliance with accounting standards.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to support audits and organizational decision-making.

• Reconcile accounts regularly to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Supervise bookkeeping operations to ensure records are precise and up to date.

• Manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.

• Oversee the preparation and filing of income tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with auditors during financial statement audits to provide necessary documentation and insights.

• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in accounting management or a similar supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger, financial statements, and month-end closing processes.

• Proficiency in bookkeeping, payroll management, and income tax return preparation.

• Excellent understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Proficiency in accounting software and other financial tools.

• Effective communication and leadership skills to manage a team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
