    This position focuses on supporting unmanned, manned, and optionally piloted aircraft platforms, as well as unmanned ground vehicles. The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of the project, from definition and design to testing, ensuring requirements are met and systems are properly integrated.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop system requirements and create design documentation.

    + Utilize and maintain existing analytical models, while developing new ones.

    + Plan and conduct tests to validate requirements.

    + Engage in cradle-to-grave project involvement, including planning, design, and testing phases.

    Essential Skills

    + Systems Engineering focus with a current U.S. DoD Secret Clearance.

    + Experience in weapons requirements development and integration/testing.

    + Knowledge of electronic warfare and attack weapons, kinetic weapons, and stores management systems.

    + Experience in CONOPS/architecture development and environmental control systems.

    + Expertise in communications, radios, and beyond-line-of-sight (BLOS) systems.

    + Proven experience in system/subsystem design and integration.

    + Familiarity with the left side of the Systems Engineering 'V' for requirements definition and architecture development.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s or master’s degree in aerospace, electrical, or mechanical engineering.

    + 8 years of industry experience, preferably within the Defense and/or Aerospace industry.

    + Experience with combat aircraft or unmanned combat aircraft systems (UCAS) and their subsystems.

    + Experience with tactical datalinks and UAS datalink integration.

    + Understanding of mission computing and mission processing capabilities.

    + Knowledge of aircraft sensor systems including ESM, EA, and SIGINT systems.

    + Experience in unmanned system vehicle management and ground control stations.

    + Familiarity with DoD engineering environment and military standards.

    + Knowledge of open systems architectures and interface standards.

    Work Environment

    This role offers contract positions in various locations including Roseville/Sacramento, CA; Round Rock, TX; Oklahoma City, OK; with remote work options if needed. The position may require 50% average travel and up to 75% travel during testing phases. The work environment is dynamic, requiring technical leadership capabilities and sharp analytical skills.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $110.00/hr.
