Vehicle Lot & Detail Associate
Are you a **detail-oriented individual** with a passion for cars and a knack for keeping things organized? We're looking for a **Vehicle Lot & Detail Associate** to join our team! In this role, you'll be key in preparing vehicles for auction and maintaining a smooth, efficient lot operation.
Shift & Pay
+ **Schedule:** Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
+ **Pay Rate:** $17 hourly
What You'll Do
Your primary responsibilities will include:
+ **Cleaning vehicles** : Removing personal effects and debris from vehicles to prepare them for auction.
+ **Detailing and polishing** : Thoroughly cleaning, washing, and polishing vehicles to enhance their appearance and value.
+ **Vehicle check-in** : Accurately checking in vehicles by recording and filing essential information using a handheld monitor and taking photographs.
+ **Key and item recovery** : Recovering keys, license plates, and other items from vehicles and storing them appropriately.
+ **Lot maintenance** : Washing cars, removing license plates, and performing general cleaning to maintain a clean and safe facility.
+ **Vehicle movement** : Operating passenger vehicles safely to move them around the facility.
+ **Visitor assistance** : Guiding visitors and directing them to the right person for help.
+ **Safety monitoring** : Monitoring yard activity to ensure compliance with company policies and reporting any violations.
+ **General yard support** : Assisting with other yard functions as needed.
What You'll Need
+ **Active Driver's License** : **MUST POSSESS AN ACTIVE DRIVER'S LICENSE** for this position.
+ **Outdoor Work** : Ability to work primarily **outside in all types of weather conditions** .
+ **Physical Stamina** : Capable of lifting and carrying up to **50 lbs** , and performing activities that involve stooping, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
+ **Reading/Writing** : Ability to read and write at a high school level.
+ **Vehicle Knowledge** : General mechanical knowledge of vehicle makes and models is required.
+ **Communication** : Capable of interacting effectively and supportively with customers and towers.
+ **Safety Awareness** : Must remain alert to potential hazards associated with heavy equipment and other vehicles in the work area.

**Pay Details:** $17.00 per hour
