We are seeking a dedicated Scientist I to join our Clinical Manufacturing team, focusing on plasmid production within a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment. This role involves collaboration with the Manager of Plasmids Operations and team members to manage day-to-day plasmid core production operations. Responsibilities include executing production processes, documenting activities, and maintaining facility and equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Support all aspects of GMP and production in Clinical Manufacturing.

+ Execute production processes and maintain thorough documentation.

+ Order and manage materials inventory to meet production goals.

+ Ensure availability of materials with proper GMP documentation.

+ Collaborate with management to identify and meet continuous improvement objectives using metrics.

+ Operate, calibrate, validate, and clean facility equipment and systems as per SOPs.

+ Assist in process documentation review, revision, remediation, and process change controls.

+ Work predominantly in lab and clean room environments (50-75%), with remaining time supporting paperwork and process preparations.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Science Field.

+ 3+ years of experience in Aseptic Processing, Cell Culture, or GMP.

+ Knowledge of aseptic techniques, cell culture, and liquid separation techniques.

+ Experience in leading projects and developing others is preferred.

+ Ability to occasionally lift/push/pull 30lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in drug compounding, drug manufacturing, food manufacturing/FDA is preferred.

+ Prior experience with mammalian or eukaryotic cell-based processes is preferred.

+ Long-term interest and desire to be in the science field.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
