Job Title: GIS Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to assist with entering backlog information into our database, including inspection and repair reports. This role involves researching and reviewing documents for quality and correctness before uploading and scanning them into the database. Candidates with previous GIS or drafting experience are preferred, as they will have a better understanding of the documents they are checking and uploading.

Responsibilities

+ Review GIS records for accuracy and completeness.

+ Conduct thorough records research.

+ Scan and archive data efficiently.

+ Perform GIS analysis.

+ Ensure TVC records are traceable, verifiable, and complete.

+ Research historical data for document control purposes.

+ Manage documents using the document management system.

Essential Skills

+ Strong analytical mindset.

+ Technical aptitude to understand complex documents.

+ Proficiency in computer use, particularly with databases.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous pipeline experience, specifically in pipeline integrity.

Work Environment

This position offers an open-ended, long-term contract with a commitment of at least 2-3 years within this group before applying to other opportunities. The role is primarily remote with a 40-hour work week from Monday to Friday. Candidates must be willing and able to drive into the Owensboro office one day a month for document scanning. The Owensboro office provides a quiet engineering environment with a casual dress code. Once settled, there is flexibility in working hours.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
