    Are you prepared to step into a critical position at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.? As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will coordinate teams at multiple warehouses situated in Hillsboro, Oregon. Your primary location will be at the offsite warehouse, just a mile from the main facility. Here, you will lead all aspects of pickers, shippers, and receivers, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Your outstanding leadership will be crucial in maintaining high team morale and achieving exceptional results!

     

    Daily tasks involve checking ERP for work orders, scheduling staff, monitoring critical metrics for prompt delivery, addressing customer concerns, participating in planning sessions, and verifying shipment accuracy.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage direct staff through leads.

    + Control and manage inventory through standard methodologies for inventory control.

    + Coordinate and collaborate with other operations supervisors.

    + Refine and build SOPs, Work Instructions, and safety documentation.

    + Ensure all safety measures are in place and all employees are performing safely.

    + Ensure that all inbound and outbound shipping meet the necessary on-time delivery critical metric.

    + Support and implement 5S solutions.

    + Lead the team and ensure high team morale is being sustained.

    + Build performance reviews and regularly check in with employees.

    Qualifications

    + Associate's degree or 4 years leadership experience.

    + Familiar with DOT and IATA requirements.

    + History of working with LTL and FTL of large freight.

    + ERP efficient.

    + Proficient in Microsoft suite.

    + Excellent communication skills.

    + PIT proficiency.
