The **Manager, Surgery** manages the daily operations of the Department of Surgery Faculty Practices (Breast, Thoracic, Surgical Oncology, etc.) works in collaboration with the Business Manager of the FP, the Director of the Department of Surgery, the Chairman of the Department Surgery and the physicians to organize and direct all clinical components of the Faculty Practices at Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC).
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
+ Graduate of a NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing.
+ BSN, or minimum of 3 year experience for existing, internal RN candidates only.
+ Minimum of 5 years of prior nursing experience.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
+ Surgical Practice experience.
+ Experience in an outpatient environment
+ Management experience.
+ Experience working in Epic electronic medical records system.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
+ AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
+ NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.

Starting at $131,144.00 Annually

Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
