    Summary

    The Vendor Master Specialist is responsible for a variety of vendor set up functions related to accuracy and timeliness of set up reporting and analyzing accounts for accuracy in accordance with SOX.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

     

    List the primary essential job duties and responsibilities.

     

    + Work on the new vendor mailbox and address all questions and requests. Set up and maintain the master vendor tables.

    + Ensure that all changes adhere to the Company’s internal control and SOX policies.

    + Identify problem areas or situations, evaluate root cause(s), and take appropriate action to resolve issues.

    + Verify banking information via phone calls

    + Other analysis and special projects as assigned.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    + High level of intellectual curiosity regarding breaking down existing processes.

    + Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.

    + Must possess and demonstrate the highest level of personal integrity and professional judgment.

    + Must be able to work in a collaborative and respectful manner with all levels within the organization.

    + Great communication skills via phone.

    Preferred Skills and Qualifications

    + _Significant experience with continuous improvement around undefined processes._

    + _Strong quantitative and analytical competency._

    + _Good organizational and time management skills._

    + _Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley rules, regulations, and practices._

    + _Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills._

    + _Advanced knowledge of Excel._

    + _Positive attitude and works well with a team._
