Administrative Coordinator - Workforce Development and Continuing Education
POSITION DETAILS
The Academic Program Coordinator reporting to the Dean of Workforce Development & Continuing Education, responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Calendar management for the Dean
• Assists with entering requisitions in CUNYBuy.
• Provides customer service to students, staff, and faculty.
• Assists in generating various reports for the Dean
Supports projects, initiatives, and activities that impact an academic or administrative department in the Office of Academic Affairs.
• Organizes office functions such as communications, meeting schedules, work plans, staff assignments, and distributing information
• Collects data for, prepares, and distributes reports and presentations using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
• Updates office databases, lists, and files to ensure completeness and accuracy; maintains current information on department web site(s); maintains department archives and collections
• Conducts internet and/or database research and performs basic systems queries to locate information related to department activities
• Maintains department fiscal plans and budgets; assists in budget administration and invoice processing
• Provides basic information, instructions, and materials as requested by students, faculty, and others who contact the department
• May supervise office staff and student workers
• Performs related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience managing or working on large projects
• Higher Education Experience
• Student/Customer Service Experience
• Computer proficiency
• Ability to work with faculty, staff and students
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Attention to detail and effective organizational skills
• Ability to multitask

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary range: $44,411 - $65,946; salary commensurate with education and experience.
CUNY is in the process of implementing salary schedule increases. Once implemented, salaries of eligible employee will be adjusted by 6.09% with additional increases of 3.25% effective 9/1/2025 and 3.5% effective 9/1/2026, in accordance with the terms of the PSC-CUNY collective bargaining agreement.
