    **Location:** Shaw AFB, SC. Candidates must live in or relocate to the Sumter, SC area and be open to working onsite five (5) days per week.

    Position Summary

    Teksouth is seeking a skilled Resource Advisor to provide daily onsite support for our client at Shaw AFB. This role works in close partnership with the Civil Engineering squadron, requiring a strong understanding of project-based funding and financial management.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct Tri-Annual Reviews, follow-up on aged commitments/obligations, and MORD reviews.

    + **Liaise with Civil Engineering personnel to manage and track the complex funding cycles of various engineering projects from inception to closeout.**

    + Track the progress of funding documents from submission through certification.

    + Assist with USAFCENT budget data requests, including Execution Plans, Spend Plans, and Unfunded Requests.

    + Respond to short-notice USAFCENT requests for information related to current and prior-year budget execution.

    + Prepare detailed analyses of annual and multi-year budget estimates for assigned organizations, resources, and programs, consolidating these into budget requests.

    + Monitor obligations and actual expenditures from various funding sources.

    + Use USAF and DoD financial systems (CRIS, GAFS, ABSS, DTS, DEAMS, IAPS, WAWF, FM Suite, DTIM, etc.) to accomplish budgeting tasks.

    + Develop presentations for executive and senior-level leadership using MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).

    + Manipulate data in spreadsheets to produce usable information for AFCENT financial managers and leadership.

    + Respond to urgent USAFCENT budget drills, analyzing financial data to assess the impact of budget and policy decisions.

    + Research and resolve complex financial discrepancies.

    + Provide end-of-month statistics to track service quality and quantity.

    + Research and resolve aged obligations, including travel, using standard accounting practices and tools.

    + Query financial databases to ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records.

    Qualifications

    + Experience with Air Force financial systems (WAWF, BQ, CRIS, FM Suite, ABSS, DTS, OARS, DEAMS).

    + Familiarity with Air Force accounting methods, terminology, and appropriations.

    + 3-5 years of DoD Resource Advisor or Air Force FM accounting experience.

    + 1-2 years of specific Air Force RA experience preferred.

    + **Experience working with or within an Air Force Civil Engineering (CE) squadron, with knowledge of CE-specific funding policies, project phasing, and authorization processes, is highly preferred.**
