    About the Role:

    A premier venture capital firm is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager or Senior Manager to join its dynamic finance team in Menlo Park. This role is central to managing the financial operations of the firm’s venture funds and offers comprehensive exposure to the full fund lifecycle. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the position also supports key initiatives for the CFO and Head of Investor Relations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Maintain fund and general partner ledgers, including investment transactions, expenses, accruals, and intercompany balances

    + Prepare quarterly and annual fund financial statements

    + Oversee capital calls and distributions to limited partners

    + Monitor fund cash flows and ensure timely processing of transactions

    + Manage deliverables from external fund administrators and review financial reporting packages

    + Coordinate with audit and tax providers, supporting timely and accurate filings

    + Partner with the Investor Relations team to address LP inquiries and reporting needs

    + Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives

    Requirements

    What We’re Looking For:

    + 9+ years of relevant experience, ideally with a foundation in public accounting and 4–6+ years in the investment management industry

    + Deep understanding of investment partnership accounting

    + Venture capital or private equity experience preferred

    + Strong Excel skills; experience with Allvue (AltaReturn) or Microsoft NAV a plus

    + Excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to learning and growth
