Position Summary

Patient service representative proactively ensures an exceptional experience for patients when greeting, checking in, and checking out during their appointment; answers incoming phone calls, responds to general patient requests, takes telephone messages and schedules patient appointments.

Position Requirements

+ **_Education and Previous Experience_**

+ High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.

+ **_Hardware/Software Experience_**

+ Practice management/medical billing computer programs.

+ Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel)

+ **_Other Characteristics_**

+ Excellent oral/written communication skills

+ Excellent organizational skills

+ Detailed oriented

+ Ability to set priorities, document conversations and specific actions taken and develop applicable policies and procedures (e.g., regarding collections)

+ Flexible; able to adapt to change

+ Bilingual (Spanish) capabilities a plus
