    Inside Pork Sales Manager

     

    Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are seeking an Inside Pork Sales Manager for our Pork Sales Team located in Greeley, CO! This person is responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with retail customers and overseeing sales, ultimately driving revenue growth, through recognized sales methods.

    Responsibilities:

    + Manage current and future retail accounts for JBS Pork

    + Use product and market knowledge to generate sales

    + Determine customer needs and match new product and programs to address account goals

    + Provide pricing quotes and modify prices accommodating specific customer needs

    + Collaborate with field sales team to develop new accounts and move accounts up on value chain

    + Work with margin management to increase sales margin

    + Contact accounts daily to discuss the availability and pricing of individual products

    + Thorough understanding of customer organizational structure and merchandising strategy

    + Understanding of all accounts in department to make team stronger

    + Responsible for understanding accounts in depth including payment terms, credit, claims, service, and other internal departments

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    + BS/BA Degree in Agri Business, Meat Science, Marketing, Economics, Ag Econ, Animal Science or Agriculture related field preferred

    + Minimum 5 years’ previous sales experience in retail or comparable field strongly preferred

    + Prior premium pork or restaurant sales experience preferred

    + Well-organized and detail oriented

    + Ability to compile, analyze, and communicate data efficiently

    + Superb phone and strong presentation skills

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Must be team oriented with a desire to work in corporate office environment

    + 40+ hours per week

    + Must be willing to travel up to 20%

    + Must be technologically savvy, MS Office Suite applications a must

    + Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

    + As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.

    The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

    + Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

    + Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

    + 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

    + Base salary range of $130,000-$145,000; and

    + Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;

     

    For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in states where it is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for any given position, compensation ranges are specific to those states and takes into account various factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiencies for the role.
