Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a **Production Coordinator (** Level B) to join our Site Fulfillment Support – Hazardous Material team to support the 787 program in **North Charleston, South Carolina.** This position supports our Boeing South Carolina production site.
This position is expected to be 1st shift, however, you must be willing to work any shift assigned based on business needs. This position also requires working overtime, currently every other weekend.
Position Responsibilities:
+ Processes and moves production parts and other materials into and out of storage, production, and other locations, supporting the flow of production following standard work instructions
+ Monitors and analyzes work in process
+ Possesses and encourages others to have a mindset of safety and First Pass Quality; adheres to compliance requirements
+ Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to ensure parts availability
+ Identifies and resolves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures & processes
+ Collaborates & coordinates with various functions & teams to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays
+ Proactively escalates potential issues
+ Works under general supervision
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
+ Forklift license or ability to obtain
+ Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds on a regular basis
+ Ability to walk, stand, climb, and descend stairs; bend and lift items; package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift
+ Willingness to work work any shift assigned based on business needs & overtime as needed
+ 1+ years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment
+ 1+ years of experience with inventory control
+ Experience using Microsoft Office applications
+ Experience directly communicating and coordinating daily with customers
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
+ 1+ years of experience working with the ERPLN application (or similar ERP system)
+ 1+ years of experience in logistics / warehousing
+ Experience using the HazTrax application and (SAT) Shipside Action Tracker (or similar communication system/tool)
+ Experience working with the Enablon application (or similar safety data/reporting tool)
+ Experience collaborating with various cross-functional teams (e.g., customers, engineering, manufacturing)
+ Attention to detail, sense of urgency, and ability to prioritize work
+ High School diploma/GED

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $42,300 - $51,700
