    The Adecco Permanent Recruitment team has partnered with a leading Aerospace Manufacturing client in Wayne County, MI, to recruit a **CNC Machinist** for their service center. This is an exciting opportunity to join a precision-focused team that specializes in the production of high-quality, custom components for the Plastic Injection Molding industry.

    About the Role:

    This position is ideal for a forward-thinking machinist who thrives in a high-precision, clean, and well-equipped shop environment. You'll play a key role in transforming raw materials into finely machined parts, holding tolerances down to ±0.0005”. The first two weeks of employment will include hands-on training at the company’s facility in Peabody, MA.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Load fixtures, tools, and programs; perform offsets and probe cycles

    + Efficiently perform changeovers with minimal downtime

    + Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings; adjust G-code as needed

    + Use precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, CMM)

    + Diagnose and resolve machining issues (e.g., tool wear, chatter, program errors)

    + Document setups, inspections, and basic maintenance

    + Select tooling, workholding, and machining processes for quality output

    + Maintain a safe and clean working environment

    + Engage in continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration

    Requirements:

    + Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience

    + Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

    + Deep knowledge of tooling and machining best practices

    + Commitment to "Quality at the Source" principles

    + High attention to detail and mechanical aptitude

    + Strong problem-solving skills

    + Ability to work independently or as part of a small, high-performing team
