Job Title: Technical Writer Hybrid Schedule: 2 days remote/3 days onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Technical Writer to join our team. This role involves creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation to support new product launches and maintain existing product documentation. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and accessible content for both internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities

+ Develop and maintain high-quality technical documents such as user manuals, installation and operation guides, spare parts lists, and internal work instructions.

+ Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and clarify technical information.

+ Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand content.

+ Ensure consistency in style, tone, and formatting across all documents.

+ Create visuals like diagrams and charts using tools such as Visio or Draw.io.

+ Manage version control and update documents based on product changes or feedback.

+ Help standardize documentation practices and templates across teams.

+ Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards.

+ Track documentation deliverables in line with project milestones.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve documentation-related issues as needed.

+ Work effectively within cross-functional teams and understand multidisciplinary needs.

+ Follow all safety and security protocols.

Work Environment

This role offers a balanced work environment with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. You will have your own office space, providing an opportunity to contribute to a stable 3-year project supporting a world-class provider in the HVAC industry.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
