    Job Title : Packaging Operator

     

    Location : St. Louis, MO

     

    Pay Rate: $22/hr

     

    Type: Contract , Potential for extension or conversion to permanent

     

    Overview

     

    Work as a High-Performance Team member supporting all aspects of team performance in order to produce a high-quality product in a safe environment while complying to all company policies and procedures in accordance with FDA regulations.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate the packaging lines in the packaging department on a daily basis.

    + Perform routine quality checks to ensure that the products are in accordance with the specification.

    + Perform routine safety checks to ensure that the equipment is in a safe condition for operation.

    + Ensure processes quality and compliance in accordance with established procedures and standards of the Quality System.

    + Comply with and support the COMPANY Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures.

    + Achieve Performance target for Packaging Lines.

    + Participate in RCA for deviations.

    + Participate in RCA for problems/breakdowns that occur on equipment.

    + Perform and assist with preventative maintenance and autonomous maintenance on packaging production lines.

    + Perform and assist with packaging production lines change overs to meet department needs.

    + Perform and assist with 5S and cleaning activities to always meet good manufacturing practices.

    + SAP functions-Batch reconciliation, Cycle Count, Material Movements, Confirmation, and Inventory control.

    Requirements

    + High School Diploma or GED equivalent

    + 1-5 years of experience in a production environment

    + SAP experience preferred
