Senior Financial Analyst, POps Analytics

Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Experience working with large volumes of complex data
+ Understanding of spreadsheets, and with SQL.
+ Ability to solve problems and navigate complexity in a fluid, constantly evolving, and often ambiguous environment.
+ Ability to manage and deliver complex cross-functional projects.
+ Ability to craft and deliver a message with credibility to influence executive leadership.
+ Ability to communicate insights to a wide range of stakeholders including technical management teams.
Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. While working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to solve big picture challenges.

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $137,000-$201,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Partner closely with POps Technology, HR Eng and HRE Finance to build a long-term tech roadmap, including agentic AI capabilities.Track and report on the financial performance of these investments and their benefits.
+ Develop and manage a rolling 3-year long-range financial plan for POps, directly mirroring People Strategy imperatives and Google's organizational needs (e.g., hiring, reorganization support). Contribute significantly to the development of 3-year Value-for-Services (VfS) roadmaps in collaboration with the POps Finance Partnerships team.
+ Develop and implement a robust spend taxonomy to enable comprehensive POps-wide benchmarking, incorporating market insights and data-driven analysis for optimized spend management.
