Job Requisition: REQ3682 Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Days Hours Per Week: 40 hours

Hiring Range : $27.54-$35.81

The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities:

-Support end users via phone or in person with telecommunications or network issues

-Adds, moves, changes for end users

-Engineer solutions and best practices for telecommunications solutions at all St. Mary’s locations

-Lead and/or perform installation and troubleshooting of telecom equipment and peripherals

-Track and perform maintenance and upgrades on all telecommunications systems and peripherals

-Liaison with support and vendors, track and maintain valid service/support contracts and warranties

-Document changes (change control), procedures, help and how-to’s

-Support telecommunications software and logging applications

-Stay proficient in installed systems and upcoming telecommunications and networking technology

-Assist in designing and installing computer networks in a healthcare environment.

-Assist in testing and configuring software, hardware, and peripheral network devices. Including WIFI.

-Evaluate network performance and latency.

-Assist network engineer with hardware maintenance.

-Participate in the on-call rotation to support the telecom and network areas.

-Occasional wiring may be required

Education, Training & Experience:

+ High School diploma/GED is required. Associate degree or higher is preferred.

+ Ideal Candidates possess the following experience

+ 3+ Years in configuration and planning multisite organization(s)

+ Planning telephony installations for small offices

+ IP subnet routing

+ Networking “Best Practices”

+ Disaster planning and recovery

+ Ideal Candidates would hold certifications and practical experience with: Avaya Call Manager, Ring Central. Fortinet Switching and Firewalls

Certifications / Licensure:

+ Certified Network Professional or Avaya certification is preferred.
