    Description

    As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our global Research, Development, and Clinical processes. You will act as a technical expert designing and implementing innovative solutions aiding in the creation of new Animal Health products.

    This position offers a base salary typically between $75,000 and $98,000. The position may be eligible for a role specific variable or performance based bonus, relocation and or other compensation elements.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    + Consulting and Analysis: Meets regularly with defined clients and stakeholders to understand and analyze their processes and needs; understands requirements to present possible solutions or improvements

    + Building Technical Solutions: Utilizes knowledge and expertise in software development tools to create innovative solutions to business needs; works with business partners to deliver reports, dashboards, visualizations, etc; designs and builds data flow/extraction methods.

    + Supporting Systems: Provides level 2/3 support for active applications used in the company domain; Coordinates activities with Boehringer IT Infrastructure, outsourced IT personnel and vendor support to ensure applications operate smoothly.

    + Learning New Technologies: Serves as the go-to contact within the team for leading edge technologies like data science and artificial intelligence.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor degree in Computer Science, or MIS, or related field with minimum 2 years of experience; or a Master degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field with minimum 1 year of experience; or relevant Business or IT experience of minimum of 5 years.

    + IT process and technical understanding and demonstrated knowledge

    + Experience with Python, DAX.

    + Experience with data analysis tools like Power BI and Tableau.

    + Experience with IT validation including documentation, testing, and system development lifecycle.

    + Excellent communication skills.

    Eligibility Requirements
