Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Responsible for management and coordination of pharmacy functions including formulary control, clinical qualify assurance, staff development, program development, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
+ Directs operations and integrates services within the work unit and with other departments.
+ Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
+ Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
+ Plans and manages programs and services to improve the safety of the medication management system.
+ Establishes and coordinates pharmacy policies and procedures in assigned practice areas.
+ Ensures departmental compliance with accreditation and regulatory agency requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Education
+ Bachelor's Degree - Pharmacy
Experience
+ 2-5 years
Supervisor Experience
+ < 2 years
Licenses & Certifications
+ RPh
Preferred Requirements
Education
+ Master's Degree - Pharmacy/Business/related
