Job Summary and Qualifications
The Partnership Lead is a key member of the Ecosystem team, responsible for driving value for Digital Transformation and Innovation (DT&I) initiatives through strategic external and internal partnerships. This role owns the end-to-end management of the partnership lifecycle, from initial identification, evaluation, and negotiation to the ongoing account management and growth of established partners. In collaboration with DT&I leaders, the Partnership Strategist ensures that our partner portfolio is optimized to accelerate innovation and achieve strategic objectives. Reporting to the Manager of Decision Support & Partnerships, the Partnership Lead is a critical driver of our Ecosystem's success and the primary point of contact for our strategic partners, as well being the catalytic agent with critical partners for DT&I. Lastly, managing market intelligence analytics products with support from Intelligence Analysts.
What you will do in this role:
+ End-to-End Partnership Management: Own and manage the full partnership lifecycle for key domains (e.g., Care Team Optimization, Supply Chain, Clinical Documentation). This includes leading the development of partnership strategies, executing on the Build/Buy/Partner framework, and ensuring successful implementation.
+ Strategic Account Management: Serve as the primary account manager for a portfolio of established partners, fostering strong relationships to ensure long-term success, value realization, and mutual growth. Responsibilities include conducting regular business reviews, monitoring performance against KPIs, and identifying opportunities for expansion.
+ Performance & Pipeline Tracking: Develop and maintain a comprehensive partnership dashboard and reporting system to track the pipeline of potential partners and the performance of existing ones. Provide regular insights and alerts on key metrics, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
+ Framework & Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Manager of Decision Support & Partnerships to continuously refine and implement our Build/Buy/Partner framework, Partnership Intake Form, SOPs, and best practices to ensure a streamlined and effective process.
+ Partner Monitoring and Governance: In collaboration with the Manager of Decision Support & Partnerships, enhance and manage our monitoring and reevaluation processes for all partnerships post-launch, aligning performance tracking with DT&I Innovation Stage Gates (e.g., Discovery, Beta, Alpha, Launch and Scale).
+ New Partner Evaluation: Lead and manage evaluations of potential partners, including facilitating demos, coordinating internal stakeholder feedback, and providing strategic recommendations to leadership.
+ Market Intelligence: Stay current on industry trends and emerging partners in the digital transformation and healthcare innovation space to identify new partnership opportunities and enhance existing relationships.
+ Manage market/industry-focused Intelligence analytics products and dashboards with support from Intelligence Analyst for DT&I Leadership.
+ Partnership Transitions: Manage the seamless transition of partnership responsibilities, either by retaining long-term ownership for strategic accounts or by handing off to other internal teams as defined by the partnership strategy.
+ Strategic Sourcing: Proactively source, unearth, and develop new partnership opportunities where collaboration with external partners can bring material value to DT&I’s leadership and OKRs.
+ Collaborate with Product, Value Tracking, Legal, Contracting, RAI, TPA/APM, Finance, Strategic Sourcing, Architecture, Security, and other HCAH approval & support bodies.
What qualifications you will need:
+ Bachelor's degree - Required
+ 3+ years of experience in facilitating partnerships with external partners or equivalent - Required
+ 3+ years of experience in account management or equivalent – Preferred
+ 1+ years of experience in market analytics / macroeconomics or equivalent - Preferred
Work Location/Schedule:
+ Nashville, TN area (near Centennial Park)
+ Onsite: M-F, 8am – 5pm
Travel Required:
+ Occasional Travel: The job may require travel from time- to-time, but not on a regular basis
