Description We are looking for an entry-level Accountant to join our team in Morristown, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a critical role in supporting accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. The role requires someone who is attentive to detail, comfortable working with large datasets, and capable of adhering to established processes.

Responsibilities:

• Transfer and organize financial data from legacy systems to updated accounting platforms.

• Conduct account reconciliations and ensure data accuracy throughout the migration process.

• Assist in managing accounts payable tasks and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

• Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.

• Follow detailed procedures to complete accounting entries accurately and efficiently.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial information.

• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

• Handle large volumes of data with precision and attention to detail.

• Support the overall accounting team in meeting project deadlines and objectives. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teams and explain findings.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; advanced skills are not required.

• Comfortable working with large datasets and numerical information.

• Familiarity with accounting software systems and processes.

• Ability to follow established procedures and meet deadlines.

• Experience in account reconciliation and accounts payable is a plus.
