Description We are looking for a skilled Division Controller to manage and enhance financial operations in our organization. This role involves overseeing financial reporting, implementing standardized accounting practices, and contributing to strategic planning. Based in Manteca, California, this position offers the opportunity to drive organizational growth and efficiency within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the preparation and oversight of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts in compliance with organizational standards.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Controller to design, implement, and refine financial controls across all business units.
• Standardize and lead operational accounting practices across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in transaction approvals.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators to optimize both financial and operational outcomes.
• Work closely with integration teams to implement Microsoft Dynamics systems and streamline processes across newly acquired entities.
• Provide in-depth financial analysis and insights to support senior leadership in strategic decision-making.
• Explore opportunities to create and execute tax strategies in partnership with external advisors. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Certification or progress toward certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, or accounting systems; public accounting experience is welcomed but not mandatory.
• Advanced technical and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel.
• Familiarity with systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or similar platforms, especially in integration projects.
• Self-directed and adaptable, with a strong drive to contribute to a rapidly evolving organization.
• Expertise in manufacturing cost accounting, month-end close processes, and financial reporting.
