Description We are looking for an experienced Interim Plant Manager to lead and enhance operations at a manufacturing facility in Idaho Falls, Idaho. This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to drive improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, and cost management while fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment. The role demands a proactive leader with a strong background in operations management and a commitment to delivering measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.

• Develop and execute production schedules, inventory controls, and workforce plans to meet organizational targets.

• Implement process optimization strategies, including Lean manufacturing principles, to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to direct reports, fostering growth and teamwork.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align manufacturing processes with company objectives.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards, maintaining high operational performance.

• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and track progress.

• Lead initiatives to reduce operational costs and improve budget alignment.

• Drive cultural transformation efforts to promote a safe and efficient work environment.

• Manage equipment utilization and maintenance to support uninterrupted production. Requirements • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing operations leadership roles.

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.

• Expertise in Lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.

• Proven ability to manage plant operations, achieve performance targets, and lead teams effectively.

• Strong communication and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in advanced Excel and manufacturing systems; experience with Infor or similar platforms is preferred.

• Industry knowledge in flexible packaging, converting, or flexographic printing is advantageous.

• Physical ability to work onsite in a plant environment, including standing and walking for extended periods.
