Position Description:
CGI Federal is currently looking for a Senior Software Developer with active Top-Secret clearance to support a large project for a federal government client. The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for leading Agile software development and system integration efforts, encompassing initial planning, design, software development and coding, prototyping, auditable documentation, manual testing, automated testing, and configuration.
US CITIZENSHIP AND ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED
This position will be based in Washington, DC or Huntsville, AL.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Develops codes, tests, and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software. Has good understanding of business applications as well as user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements. Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. May assist in development of software user manuals. Responsible for desktop design, testing, security lockdown implementation, integration with standard software packages, integration with automated patching and deployment technologies, documentation, and training to include automating application and configuration deployment.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Active Top Secret clearance
• Minimum of 7+ years' experience as a Software Developer.
• Experience in ElasticSearch, Vue.js, Java Spring Framework, and .NET Framework web services.
• Practice in Agile methodology.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, customers, and support personnel.
