• Part Time Forklift Operators

    Position Summary:

    A Forklift Operator is experienced in a fast-paced shipping and receiving environment. Working knowledge of receiving, shipping, order assembly, inventory control, and processes is considered a plus. Their duties include preparing merchandise and securing it for safe, easy transport, using paper based or RF communications to determine priorities and performing regular machine maintenance on forklifts and other tools.

    Responsibilities:

    Loading and unloading, inbound and outbound goods • Transport goods for storage within the facility • Optimize travel throughout the warehouse to ensure operational efficiency • Inspect material handling equipment for damage and schedule maintenance or repairs • Manage inventory, keeping accurate data collection to ensure inventory integrity • Adhere to safety standards, maintaining a safe, orderly, and clean environment • Housekeeping to ensure all work areas are free of debris • Follow procedures for reporting overages, shortages, and damages

    Requirements/Qualifications:

    Proven experience as a forklift operator (Forklift Certification will be provided by trainer and is required of all warehouse employees) • Strong attention to detail • Basic mathematical skills • Knowledge of industrial equipment

     

    **Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour
