    Position Overview

    We’re looking for aCAD Programmerwho thrives in a hybrid role—part digital, part hands-on. You’ll spend 20–30% of your time programming and designing in CAD/CAM software, and the rest setting up machines and ensuring production excellence. This is a unique opportunity to blend technical creativity with real-world application in a collaborative, small-team environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Develop, optimize, and maintainCNC programs (G-code/M-code)for 3-axis milling machines.

    + Create and modify2D/3D CAD modelsfor parts and assemblies.

    + Convert client graphic files intoengraving programsthat meet production and quality standards.

    + Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Quality Control to ensure manufacturability and accuracy.

    + Generateclient proof artworkand serve as a liaison between Customer Service and Production.

    + Continuously improve programming workflows and engraving processes.

    + Support machine setup and hands-on production tasks as needed.

    + Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and operational standards.

    Qualifications

    + 5–10 years of experience in CAD/CAM programming, CNC setup, and tooling design.

    + Strong understanding ofG-code/M-code and blueprint-to-code workflows.

    + Proficiency in2D/3D CAD software(e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo, Fusion 360).

    + Experience with CAM software(e.g., Mastercam, GibbsCAM, SolidCAM, HSMWorks).

    + Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.

    + U.S. citizenship required due to contract requirements.

    Preferred Skills

    + Background as a machinist or CNC operator.

    + Experience in engraving ,precision manufacturing, or military-grade production.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
