    The successful job applicant will teach:

    EAR 117 – Oceanography in the College of Arts and Sciences.

     

    This is a 3 credit course taught in the fall semester 2025. Position begins August 18, 2025 and first day of classes is August 25, 2025.

     

    This course meets in-person on the Syracuse University campus.

    Course Description:

    A comprehensive introduction to the geology, physics, chemistry, and biology of the world ocean and its impact on global climate and environmental concerns.

     

    The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined based on their per-credit-rate-history within the hiring department.

     

    All course offerings are subject to funding availability and enrollment.
