BluePearl Pet Hospital** **in Spring, TX** **is hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician (Certified preferred but not required) to join our surgery team!

BluePearl Pet Hospital, the role of Veterinary Technician is an exciting opportunity that will allow you to utilize the skills that you have worked so hard to gain. We will also give you the chance to expand and grow your skills, all while working alongside some of the most talented veterinary professionals.

**Position:** Veterinary Technician for our Surgery Department.

As a Surgery Technician, you will:

+ You prepare patients for surgery.

+ You safely restrain patients for procedures.

+ You place intravenous catheters in all peripheral veins.

+ You perform phlebotomy.

+ You perform local nerve blocks

+ You prepare slides for cytology.

+ You proficiently perform digital radiographs.

+ You monitor patients during anesthesia or while sedated.

+ You will perform advanced imaging such as CT scans and MRI procedures.

+ You have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.

+ You have patience and empathy to address client concerns.
