The Facilities and Operations team handles all logistical support from an operational standpoint for US-based locations including space planning, design and moves, construction, phones, and security to support facilities planning and projects.

You will report to the Senior Manager Facilities & Operations.

This is a Full-Time role.

What You Will Do

+ This is the functional leader responsible for ensuring the Walt Disney Imagineering Florida-based facilities are programmed, planned, and maintained to be within building and safety standards on an ongoing basis

+ Build and maintain an efficient facility management program where quality services are provided, balanced with cost, and keep overall occupancy costs to a minimum

+ Carry out direction from Senior Management regarding strategic vision and direction across your area of responsibility

+ Communicate effectively with Senior Manager regarding business efficiencies/concerns

+ Oversee headcount, including interview and staff candidates for vital openings

+ Oversee day-to-day operations, accountability, and development of direct reports

+ Perform space programming and design for internal requirements for functional/project groups while keeping track of trends and requirements

+ Develop workplace designs in office planning, building maintenance/management, purchasing, vehicles, furniture, storage containers, etc.

+ Be responsible for and approve designs and construction of funded projects

+ Maintain environmental compliance by partnering with DX Environmental (and other partners) to promote recycle/reuse pathways and manage chemical approval/storage/disposal

+ Responsible for oversight of facility maintenance as well as preventative maintenance program across all local sites to ensure site & equipment sustainability

+ Project manage various tenant improvement projects while staying on time & budget

+ Handle a budget and partner with finance & sourcing teams to resolve the accurate route for funding. This may include coordinating larger projects that require additional approvals for funding

+ Handle both the vehicle fleet and warehouse/storage locations with Walt Disney Imagineering - Florida

Required Qualifications & Skills

+ 5 years of progressive demonstrated construction and/or facilities management experience

+ Experience with management of multi-unit operations

+ Communication skills both written and oral with emphasis on dispute resolution

+ Time management skills and the ability to schedule out key events

Education

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent professional-level experience
