VetsEZ is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead Agile software development teams supporting DevSecOps initiatives for the Department of Veterans Affairs. This role involves overseeing end-to-end project delivery, managing cross-functional team performance, and ensuring project objectives are aligned with VA's mission and compliance standards.

The candidate must reside within the continental US.

Responsibilities:

+ Lead all phases of project management initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure for DevSecOps related projects.

+ Define and manage project scope, timelines, resource plans, and deliverables in alignment with stakeholder expectations.

+ Partner with technical leads to support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and infrastructure modernization.

+ Track and report on Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) to monitor progress and identify risks early.

+ Serve as the primary liaison between VA stakeholders and internal development teams, ensuring transparency and timely communication.

+ Promote process improvements, governance, and quality assurance across delivery teams to uphold security and compliance.

+ Coordinate with leadership to manage dependencies across products and align priorities within the broader portfolio.

Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.

+ 8+ years of project management experience, preferably in a federal or healthcare environment.

+ Demonstrated success leading Agile software development teams using DevSecOps practices.

+ Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.

+ Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and secure development lifecycle practices.

+ Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

+ Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) and Kanban agile methods is highly desired.

Additional Qualifications:

+ SAFe Agilist or other Agile certifications.

+ Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other Agile frameworks.

+ Ability to obtain a government clearance
